“This girl is a
major talent. Unique, playful, and open. Give her a try. She'll figure it out and nail it cause she's hungry like that.”

“It is not often you see someone
who is naturally funny and can bring
genuine life to the characters she plays,
has an amazing voice and is an accomplished dancer. Tara is a triple threat in every sense of the word and I look forward to watching how far she will go and have already watched her journey with pride.”

"Tara Tagliaferro is that breath-of-fresh-air kind of talent....
the kind that comes in the room and uncharacteristically makes you laugh, warms your heart, and refreshes your sensibilities of classic musical theatre repertoire. She is a genuine original in a sea of status quo: smart, sassy, intelligent, and America’s next top character leading lady!"
NY Based Director
is an amazingly versatile
comic actress who lights up the stage with her effervescent presence and her clear, radiant singing voice. She positively bursts with talent, and her unflagging good cheer makes her a tremendous colleague in addition. Tara is an absolute joy, onstage and off, and I strongly recommend hiring her whenever possible!”
Broadway Music Director,
was a SMASH HIT at
The Ziegfeld Society.
Her portrayal of Eva Tanguay brought the house down. Her performance is in the league of Carol Burnett, Dorothy Loudon and Gilda Radner. She commands the stage like very few do these days.”

"Tara is a wonderful person
and performer. I remember first
seeing her work at her MSU senior
showcase where I was coaching her class.
Tara stood out. There was a palpable positive energy, a charming quirkiness and true sense
of self. She was fearless, so eager to learn and showed unique commitment amongst her peers. Over the last few years, I have seen tremendous growth in her work and she continues to impress with her talent, energy, creativity and sunny disposition. Tara’s recent successes are the
first of many in what will be a long career,
I am sure.

The fall season following her graduation,Tara was delighted to pack up and take a detour to Philadelphia to fulfill a season long acting apprenticeship with the Walnut Street Theatre, which began her steamy love affair with the Philly theatre community. Tara went on to work consistently in Philadelphia, performing elsewhere at Bristol Riverside Theatre, Media Theatre, 1812 Productions, Hedgerow Theatre, Society Hill Playhouse, and Mazeppa Productions.
